1. Proteomics. First of all development of approaches for theĀ do novo sequencing of natural peptides using exclusively mass spectrometry tools [1, 2]. Determination of primary structure (sequence) of novel peptides with possible biological activity. Top-down method.
2. Target and non target analysis of environmental samples (water, precipitations, air, soil, biota) [4]. Creation of the lists of priority pollutants for industrial enterprises, cities, rivers, lakes, regions, etc.
3. Study of chemical processes taking place during drinking water preparation. Formation and identification of disinfection by-products (DBP) forming from natural humic matter and anthropogenic organic contaminants.
4. Identification of transformation products of industrial chemicals in the environment, including natural conditions and special purification processes [3].
5. Confirmation of the composition of industrial products.
